AFZA ALTAF CHILDREN PARK INAUGURATED IN ORANGI TOWN


City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal on Thursday inaugurated Afza Altaf Children Park in union council-4 of Orangi Town. Town Nazim Abdul Haq other elected representatives and a large number of area people were also present on this occasion.
Later while talking to media representatives City Nazim said that Haq Parast leadership has constructed more than 16 parks in Orangi Town so that the people could get more and more recreation facilities near to their residence.

He said that the workers of Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain have performed lot of development works during last four years in Orangi. Nazim Karachi said that the construction of Rs1400million worth Banaras Flyover has been 80 percent completed and the bridge will be available for vehicular traffic in next two months. He said that the completion of Banaras Flyover would mean provision of another direct link of Orangi to other areas of city. Earlier the town had provided link to Northern Bypass and Shahra-e-Noorjehan through Shahra-e-Qaddafi and new link road respectively.

City Nazim said that an institute of heart disease will also be established in Orangi Town to provide immediate medical help to heart patients. He said that in order to solve the water shortage problem a new pipe line has been laid in Orangi with the capacity of carrying 5million gallon water daily. Besides the reconstruction of Shahra-e-Qaddafi and Shahra-e-Orangi the inner lanes and streets were also made concrete.

Replying a question city nazim said that the link road between Orangi and Shahra-e-Noorjehan was constructed by National Highway Authority but after the work was left halfway city government was now completing it with a cost of Rs40million.
